It's worth noting that I have never taken the time to write a bad review as I've never been compelled to do so. I had the misfortune of dealing with the Skinsation team this week and experienced terrible customer service. From the time of scheduling my appointment it was a nightmare. I had to call the facility at least TWENTY times just to get someone on the phone. Each time prior to that, their antiquated automated voicemail system placed me on hold for 4-6 minutes before it would drop the line. I was finally able to get something scheduled and arranged to leave work 1.5 hours ahead of schedule to make it there in time. As soon I got on the highway I noticed a car crash related traffic jam on my GPS, I tried calling them three times to tell them I was running 10 minutes behind. Again, same issue - call, get the automated line, wait on hold for 5 minutes before being hung up on. I rush into the facility ten minutes late and two women are sitting at the front desk, chit chatting, seemingly unperturbed by the ringing phone and too busy to pick it up. One of the front desk employees promptly told me that due to me being late they needed to cancel the appointment. I explained what had happened and without apology, she tried to explain to me that I had tons of paperwork to fill out before even getting my service. I've had many, many Brazilian waxes and have never had extensive paperwork to fill out. Not only was she incredibly rude about the cancellation, she did not notify me of the paperwork requirement in advance nor did she apologize for canceling the appointment. Her tone was extremely condescending. As a side note, it's located in a ram-shackled building in a strange, residential location. It's not worth saving the extra few dollars, I called European Wax Center in Green Hills, they were extremely responsive, sweet and a far cry from the horrific customer service endured at Skinsation.
I love this place. Every time I go there they're all super sweet and always helpful.
This place must have great service. I wouldn't know yet because they don't have any appointments open for the next 3 weeks. Also, very difficult to speak with someone to set the appointment by phone. They use an answering service and someone is supposed to call you back. Got a call back but missed it, so I called back again, once more only being able to get the answering service. Finally decided just to book online because I have a Groupon. Credit card required just to book. Very frustrating experience so far.
